Veggies for life!
Everyone knows they are good for you, but nobody seems to want to eat them. Vegetables contain a host of good nutrients for your body. So how do you get your kids, and the rest of the family, to eat more vegetables? Be persistent and start with the basics: BSE!
Buy them: Buy a variety of vegetables and have them readily available and in sight and in mind, and eventually the vegetables will be in your families’ tummies too!
Serve them: There’s something called the rule of fifteen. Children need to be offered bitter foods, like vegetables, fifteen (or up to twenty-eight) times before you know if they’ll like them.
Eat them yourself: Set an example, and your kids will do as you do.
